DING'S RWC7'S TOUR 2022


  • Booking a place on the tour- when you have paid your full deposit and supplied your passport details, you will receive notification that you are confirmed on the tour or an agreed abbreviated itinerary.​

  • Deposits after 1st September 2021 are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

  • You may be able to make certain changes to your booking, subject to availability, and for which you may incur a charge.

  • It is assumed that you are an adult. For travelling minors (under 18 on the first day of the tour) there are specific requirements which must be met. For the official government website please refer to  https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/south-africa.

  • You will note that there is a high level of crime in South Africa and it is important that you check in advance of travel for any travel advice regarding safety and security.

  • Flights are booked through the security of an ATOL agent. This is for the financial protection of all.

  • Insurance – it is the personal responsibility of each person to have in place the cover they either seek or require. Please ensure that it affords sufficient cover for the activities that you wish to partake in, during the tour. It is advisable that you seek to take this out at the time of booking.   

  • Payment- an initial deposit of £500 is payable, an interim payment of £1000 by 01 November and the balance on 01 June 2022. All payments to be made to the main tour account, given on the website. Credit card payment cannot be taken. All monies are held in a separate bank account (as given). Bank details - SA tour 2022 Sort Code 01-01-14 Account No 15186121- when any payments made please ensure name is added for reference. For those from further afield that may require an IBAN & SWIFT codes, please ask and we can advise.  

  • Changes before the tour- this tour is operated in the best interests of all. It is planned for likeminded folk many months in advance. We harness the services of individual suppliers such as airlines, hotels, agents etc, whom may have to make changes. All of these are made within the context of providing for the very best touring experience.   • Force Majeure is any event which we could not, even with all due care, have been foreseen or avoided. Force Majeure covers events such as, but not limited to, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline, the alteration of the airline or aircraft type, war or threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disaster, industrial dispute, disease, industrial or nuclear disaster, bad weather, fire, cancellation of sporting fixtures or a featured tournament and all similar events beyond our control. In the case of Force Majeure bookings may be changed or cancelled as necessary without liability.

  • Match tickets – all match tickets carry their own terms and conditions. Tickets obtained may not be offered as a prize or resold. Cancellations or postponement of fixtures is unusual, once agreed to by all parties. Tickets are allocated in a fair manner, so that everyone has an equally good experience. You will be informed about any cancellation of personality appearances or changes beyond our control, as soon as reasonably practicable, but we cannot accept liability for any such cancellation or changes.

  • Pricing- this tour is run on a ‘not for profit’ basis and any monies left over are spent ‘at the bar’ or donated to charity. Rates are calculated for 2022, but on occasions a surcharge may apply eg government action, fuel and airport charges, inflated airfares, currency changes. In line with holiday travel practice anything up to 2% is absorbed by the tour, thereafter anything up to 10% passed on, and above that you are entitled to cancel your place on the tour.    

  • Booking transfer- if you are unable to travel and someone else can take that place, then we will endeavour to transfer the booking across at minimal or no charge. Within 70 days of departure higher charges may apply.

  • Flights- we will be booked in economy class, but upgrades maybe possible subject to availability. You cannot take advantage of frequent flier programmes for your travel. Baggage allowances in conjunction with the airlines policy have to be adhered to.

  • Accommodation- hotels are based generally on a basis of two persons per room. On the odd occasion it may be more. We like to mix the group up, but if there are specific requirements to share with another member of the touring party then we shall try and accommodate that. There is the option of single supplements for those that seek such arrangements. Breakfast is normally included or as a minimal additional charge. 

  • Behaviour- everyone is expected to behave in a manner that causes no distress, damage or danger to anyone else and we make best friends with all whom we meet. This is the foundation upon which our tour is built.    

  • Passports and Visas- it is your personal responsibility to check the specific passport and visa requirements for your travel. Please provide a copy of your passport- the recommendation is to have six months validity beyond the last day of the tour.   • Vaccinations- it is your individual responsibility to monitor for any vaccinations required for your travels. Similarly please pass on any medical requirements no later than 90 days prior to departure. We are an inclusive tour and please let me know if any special requirements.  

  • Covid-19. We naturally cannot prevent any party members being exposed to, contracting or spreading any communicable disease. It is not possible to prevent the presence of the disease, but protocols are to be adhered to minimise the risk. By travelling you have acknowledged the presence of such diseases and that you understand the government warnings, and waive any right to make any claims relating to Covid-19 or any other communicable disease. 

  • If you decide to cancel your participation on the tour, then some charges may apply, which can be as much as 100% of the cost, depending upon when actioned. Any cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation charges are on the basis of a travel industry standard of more than 180 days deposit only, more than 84 days 25%, more than 56 days 50%, more than 42 days 70%, more than 28 days 90% and under 28 days 100% 

  • What if you have something to complain about? Please let Andrew Loughlin know of any aspect of the tour that is not up to your satisfaction, no matter what it is, and he can try and resolve to your reasonable satisfaction. This can be done up to 28 days after the end of the tour, thereafter it shall be assumed that you have had a fabulous time.  

  • Social media and pictures- one of the great luxuries of modern travel is sharing your experiences with others. Please note that at some events there may be restrictions on your use of certain imagery or videos. It would be good to use some of your pictures on tour to show others in presentations or websites of our experiences on tour. It shall be assumed your consent is given for your photographs to be shared unless otherwise informed. Please be mindful of pictures posted and it would be preferable if this showed all in a good and positive light. None of your contact details are passed on to third parties.        

  • Emergency number- a 24 hour emergency number will always be made available.
